Peanut Butter Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


  1. Cream together the butter and sugars in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until creamy. Beat in the chocolate syrup and peanut butter until well mixed.
  2. In another bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, salt and oats. Add to the chocolate/peanut butter mixture and stir to combine. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap or place in a lidded bowl and chill for 1-2 hours. Bake spoonfuls of dough on lightly greased cookie sheets in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool on sheet 2-3 minutes then finish cooling on racks.
