Taco Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients

  • 4 flatbreads
  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen sliced onions and peppers
  • 2 Tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup mild taco sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced olives, drained
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Place flatbread on cookie sheets
  3. Plave ground beef in a large skillet over moderate heat and brown breaking the beef up while it cooks
  4. When the beef is mostly cooked through add the onions and peppers and taco seasoning
  5. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the vegetables are mostly tender
  6. Spread 1 to 3 Tablespoons of taco sauce on each flatbread, top with the cheese, meat mixture, and olives
  7. Bake in the hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden and bubbling
  8. Let rest for five minutes before serving
