Fresh Strawberry Pie

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 Tablespoons strawberry gelatin mix
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries washed, hulled and halved
  • 1 single layer pie crust baked and cooled


  1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and dry gelatin mix in a sauce pan. Add water to dry mixture and cook until thickened over medium high heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Set aside and let cool.
  2. Arrange strawberries over pie crust.
  3. When filling is cool, pour over strawberries and chill pie until ready to serve. Serve with whipped cream
