What’s On Our Table Week 16

A taste of Thanksgiving and some delicious and comforting soups are What’s On Our Table.

I am smack dab in the middle of recipe testing for the holidays if you couldn’t guess with the mini Thanksgiving dinner on our menu this week.

We’re also revisiting a few family favorites we haven’t eaten in awhile like club sandwiches and copycat Del Combo burritos.

Meal planning is a little more complicated as a food blogger because I have to balance new recipes with old standbys. That’s one of the reasons behind the lack of new posts over the summer. I stuck mostly to tried and true favorites because the auntlings were here pretty much full time. We had more tacos and spaghetti during the summer than I think we’ve eaten since I was their ages 20 some-odd years ago.

Dinner:

  1. Copycat combination burritos and fries.
  2. Club Sandwiches and chips
  3. Instant Pot turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, slow cooker herbed cornbread dressing, vegetable
  4. Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef soup
  5. Broccoli and cheese soup
  6. Taco Baked Potatoes
  7. Leftovers

Lunch:

  • Leftovers
  • Sandwiches
  • Quesadillas

Breakfast:

  • Eggs and toast
  • Loaded waffle iron hash browns
  • Peanut butter toast
