What’s on Our Table- Pantry Challenge Week One

So it’s the first meal plan for 2019 and it’s a pantry challenge which I actually love doing. It forces my creativity and I’ve come up with some amazing recipes from them.

This week it’s a true pantry challenge. I’m not buying any groceries until next week so I’m making do with what we have.

Wednesday: Bacon cheeseburger quesadillas with roasted sweet potatoes

Thursday: Poppy Seed Chicken, rice, a vegetable

Friday: Ham and Potato Casserole and a veggie

Saturday: Slow Cooker Turkey Breast, mashed potatoes and gravy,  veggies, and rolls

Sunday: Turkey pot pie

Monday: Red beans and rice minus the sausage because we don’t have any.

Tuesday: Some kind of soup and breadsticks. I’m thinking a creamy turkey and rice depending on what I have leftover


  1. This is aa great idea! I usually find things I forgot I had. I also do it to my deep freezer. It is a good exercise and makes me realize how much I might waste.
