If you are looking for a delicious new meat sauce that doesn’t take a ton of effort you need to try this recipe. I thought the red sauce recipe I have on the blog was the best homemade sauce but this new one beats it by a mile.

I found this amazing recipe on the blog I got for this month’s Secret Recipe Club A Spoonful of Thyme. Kate’s blog is full of amazing recipes like Spicy Mexican Chicken Salad, Orzo Chicken Salad, Chicken Marsala, and Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese.

However, when I saw  her recipe for Spicy Tuscan Style Ragu I knew that was what I had to make. I was not disappointed.

It took almost no time to get the Slow Cooker Spicy Tuscan Ragu ready to bubble away in the slow cooker and it tastes fantastic. I’m thinking up a couple of variations to use in other pasta dishes.

  1. It is a wonderful sauce and the bonus is that you use a slow cooker! I am happy that you enjoyed it. It is on our rotation! Thank you for the nice words… Merry Christmas.

  2. GOSH that looks good, Micha!! 😀 Now I want this AND the fettucine! For breakfast! 😀 Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! 😀

  3. That sounds SO good. I am not much into spicy stuff, but I bet the cream tempers some of the heat from the sausage. I kind of want this right now. Great choice!

    • You could always do an entire pound of the sweet Italian sausage and half a pound of the hot if you’re afraid of it being too hot after the cream. I thought it was just right but I adore spicy food so I may not be the best person to go by.

  4. Wow two SRC B posts. HOw nice! This looks delicious!
