This roasted cabbage is an easy side dish that is fabulous with a variety of main dishes.
This is an easy beyond words side dish. It tastes pretty good too. I love cabbage and I was tired of cooking it the usual ways which is generally sautéed or steamed. I bought some green beans to roast and thought why not try roasted cabbage. It was a smashing success.

Roasted Cabbage
Ingredients
- Head of cabbage
- oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove tough dark green outer leaves. Cut cabbage into eight wedges, removing core. On a large baking sheet drizzle the wedges with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place in oven and cook for 30-45 minutes or until cabbage is tender and is browned on the edges.
