Quick and Easy Beef and Broccoli

Stir-fry is one of my favorite get dinner on the table in a hurry meals. You’re only limited by your imagination and ingredients on hand. This time I went extra simple with beef, broccoli, and a prepared sauce.


Quick and Easy Beef and Broccoli


  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak cut into very thin strips
  • 1 pound cut broccoli or broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Mr. Yoshida’s Sauce
  • 4 Tablespoons cornstarch, divided
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 4-6 servings hot cooked rice

Cooking Directions

  1. Steam the broccoli until crisp tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat.
  3. Coat the steak with 2 Tablespoons of the cornstarch and brown in oil.
  4. Add the steamed broccoli and Mr. Yoshida’s sauce to the skillet and bring to a bubble.
  5. Mix the remaining 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch and water and add to the skillet. Cook and stir until thickened.
  6. Serve over hot cooked rice
