Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad

Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad a tasty main dish salad perfect for almost any time of year.

Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad

We love salad. Especially as a main dish in the summer. Toss together your favorite salad greens, add in a few other veggies, top with a protein, and your favorite dressing and there you go.

This Crispy Buffalo Chicken Salad combines two delicious flavors into one awesome recipe. I will admit I used frozen chicken fingers in this recipe. If you want to make your own I highly recommend my Buttermilk Chicken Fingers. Or to make it even easier than I did you can pick up chicken fingers from the grocery store deli.

This salad comes together fairly quickly and if the littles don’t like spicy food, just set aside some of the chicken before coating in the sauce. Easy to accommodate varying tastes without having to cook a separate meal. That’s a win/win in my book.

Buffalo chicken is traditionally served with blue cheese dressing but I made ranch. The garlic bread croutons are a nod to all the restaurants that serve garlic Texas toast with the chicken tender plates. Is that just a Southern thing? I never had a chicken finger until we moved to Alabama so I don’t have a clue what restaurants west of the Mississippi do.
