Chocolate Caramel Peanut Clusters

These easy chocolate caramel peanut clusters are a great holiday treat.
Chocolate Caramel Peanut Clusters are easy to make. No need to fuss with a candy thermometer or any other special equipment.
Can you believe it is the middle of November? Where has the year gone? I’m already in holiday baking mode and have some really tasty treats planned over the next few weeks.

I am joining in with the Improv Cooking Challenge this month. What’s that you ask? Well, each month bloggers are assigned two ingredients and have to post a recipe with those ingredients. This month our ingredients were caramel and nuts.

Turtles were a fairly obvious choice but due to the drought our pecan trees didn’t do so well this year. I know I could have bought them but I’m cheap.

So I brainstormed and thought of using peanuts to make some type of cluster candy. I also knew I wanted to include chocolate because I love chocolate covered peanuts. Back in October I saw a video where someone used Milk Duds to make chocolate covered caramel apples. How smart is that?

Five ingredients are all you need to make these easy chocolate caramel peanut clusters. If you have children they could easily help with the measuring and adding the ingredients to the bowl before everything is hot.

These candles are sticky because of the caramel so be sure to have a damp napkin nearby.
