Chicken Finger Sauce

Three ingredient Chicken Finger Sauce is simple and delicious. It’s great with chicken fingers but also as a burger sauce or as a dip for French fries.

I haven’t added an actually new recipe to the blog in months. I’ve been updating some of my favorite hidden gems with new pictures and republishing. This is one of those recipes, it was originally published in August of 2011. When I’m loking through my archives I come across recipes I had forgotten about so it’s fun discovering recipes again.

This is my version of the sauce that seems to be served at any place in the South that serves chicken fingers. I’ve seen it called Comeback Sauce, House Sauce, and Fingers Sauce. It contains three ingredients that most people will have at any given time.

It’s easy enough that a child could make it with little supervision but packs a lot of flavor. Don’t be alarmed by the amount of black pepper in the sauce, it isn’t spicy so don’t skimp.

I’ll be honest with you I don’t make this as much as I did since I discovered Sweet Chili Sauce. Every time I do make it I wonder why I don’t make it more often because it’s so tasty.
