Nope you aren’t reading the wrong blog I am posting a second Secret Recipe Club post for July. Last week Debbi the fabulous Group C leader mentioned that one of the bloggers was unable to do their assignment for this month and I volunteered to pinch hit. It’s funny how it all worked out because I was making a recipe that uses Alfredo sauce and I found one pretty much right away.
The blog I got was The Freshman Cook. Teri, the cook behind the blog, says that The Freshman Cook is for the beginner cook.

Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- to taste salt
Instructions
-
Heat the cream and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until bubbles start to form around the edges.
-
Pour in lemon juice and cook, stirring constantly, for a couple of minutes.
-
Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until the cheese is melted.
-
Season with salt as needed

Hi, I’m an honorary group C member this month too. 🙂 What recipe did you wind up using this sauce on? It looks like it would be sooo good over chicken.
I made a chicken and spinach dish with it. I’ll be posting the recipe soonish.
