Weekly Menu and Printable Shopping List from Cookin' Mimi

April is here and in Alabama that means warm weather so I will be sharing more stove top and grilling recipes in the menu.

As usual there are five recipes with side dish suggestions. To print the list click the print the recipe button in  the footer and click individual items to delete if you don’t need it.

 

Tandoori Style Chicken, grilled flatbread or purchased Naan or pita bread, veggie dippers

Taco Bowls with Mexican Salad, fruit

Smoked Sausage and Peppers, brown rice, green beans

Hashbrown Casserole, broccoli or another favorite green veggie, green salad

Sloppy Joes, oven roasted potato wedges, veggie dippers

 


Printable Grocery List


Produce

Salad fixings for one night

1 head of lettuce

1 tomato

3 onions

1 or 2 bell peppers

5 pounds russet potatoes

1-2 pounds broccoli or other favorite green veggie

favorite fruit

1-2 pounds green beans

Favorite veggie tray vegetables for 2 nights

1 lemon

Fresh Ginger

Fresh Garlic


Dairy and Refrigerated

1 quart buttermilk

8-12 ounces cheddar cheese

Sour Cream

Butter


Meat

4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 pound smoked sausage

2.5-3 pounds ground chuck or turkey


Canned and Dry Goods

1 pound brown rice

1 pound white rice

1 small jar salsa

24 ounce bottle of ketchup

10.25 ounce can of cream of chicken soup

Favorite salad dressing

Yellow Mustard

Hot sauce


Baking Staples and Spices

Olive oil

Honey

Yeast

All purpose flour

Salt

Black Pepper

Garlic Salt

Brown Sugar

Turmeric

Curry powder

Chili powder

Paprika

Onion Powder


Bread

1 package hamburger buns or sandwich rolls

Naan or other flatbread if not making the grilled flatbread
