Weekly Menu and Printable Shopping List from Cookin' Mimi

Here’s to another week of delicious food. As usual I’m sharing 5 nights of meals based on what is on sale and in season in my area. Produce:

Salad fixings for 2 nights plus extra head of lettuce and extra tomato

2-3 pounds of potatoes

Fruit of choice

Favorite raw veggies such as carrots, celery, broccoli

1 head of cabbage

1 head garlic

1 lemon


Canned and Dry Goods:

1 bag egg noodles

24 ounce jar spaghetti sauce

28 ounce can refried beans

14 ounce can diced tomatoes

White rice non-instant

Small can sliced black olives

Small bottle Italian dressing

14 ounce can chicken broth

Maple or pancake syrup

1 bag of your favorite potato chips, corn chips, or the like


Dairy and Refrigerated:

1 package of pepperoni

1 package of deli sliced ham

1 packed of deli sliced Muenster cheese

1 dozen eggs

milk

8 ounces of mozzarella cheese

8 ounces of Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

butter

1 pound bacon or breakfast sausage


Baking staples and spices:

Cinnamon

Brown Sugar

Salt

Black Pepper

Honey

1 package Taco seasoning

Oil

Powdered Sugar


Meat:

2 pounds ground chuck or turkey

4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts


Bread:

1 package corn tortillas

1 loaf French Bread

1 loaf sourdough bread

1 loaf Texas Toast or other thick sliced bread
