Friday Frenzy Link Party and French Toast Too

Y’all I am so excited to be one of the new hosts of the Friday Frenzy Link Party. I’ve co-hosted a few link ups in my almost nine years of blogging but never one quite this large.

There are nine hosts for this shindig. That means if you blog about recipes or crafts once you link up with me, or on one of the other blogs, it automatically posts on eight others. If you don’t blog that just means that you have the opportunity to find more delicious recipes or cool crafts.

You may have noticed that lately I’ve been posting recipes on Wednesday through Friday and this week switched to a Tuesday start. This is why. I wanted to leave Fridays open for the link party.

Speaking of recipes from this week be sure to check out my Simple and Delicious Homemade French Toast.

In other news, so far summer has been amazing. The kidlets have spent lots of time here and we’ve mostly just stayed home and relaxed. One of the highlights so far was the soda and ice cream fellowship after church services on Wednesday night. It was so nice getting to chat with people I don’t get to see too often and we even met a couple of new people.

I have tons of new recipes planned for the blog, some that have been planned for years that I haven’t gotten around to posting, and I am continuing my update ugly as sin recipe pictures campaign so stay tuned for plenty of new to you recipes if you haven’t been around since the beginning. If you have maybe you’ll be reminded of some favorites you’ve forgotten about. I’m the one doing the recipes and I find ones I had forgotten I posted.

Enough about me lets get to the important stuff. In the words of Wayne and Garth: Party on! I just totally showed my age didn’t I?

Our first featured post this week comes from Julie of Cut Off in the Keweenah. Her American flag is made from Dollar Tree basket liners and a blank canvas, hello adorable! And easy because I NEED easy.

Next up Kelly Lynn takes us back to high school with her French Bread Pizza. In her words “Oh…to have the metabolism of a 17-year old hahahaha.” I totally AGREE Kelly!

And finally some great Toddler Turkey Carrot and Apple Meatballs from Savory Moments. I don’t know about you but these look like they’d be great for anyone, anytime!
