Countdown to 2016: Appetizers and Snacks

I had a wonderful holiday season and hope you did too. This is the first year in probably five years that my immediate family was able to be together for Christmas. Even being woken up before the sun was up by the auntlings because Santa visited couldn’t dampen my excitement.

The kiddos and I made Chocolate Minty Melts minus the Hershey’s Kisses for Santa Claus and for our Christmas dinner I cooked a rib roast, twice baked potatoes, and we also had salad with homemade Ranch dressing.

Can you believe that it is almost 2016? I can’t. This year has been crazy and filled with change, the biggest of which was moving back in the fall. I absolutely love the new house especially the kitchen which has a gas stove.

Sarah from Fantastical Sharing of Recipes is hosting a countdown to 2016 where we share our favorite recipes from various categories. The first theme is appetizers and snacks. I posted a grand total of three this year and they were all dips.

Comments

  1. Yum, your Nopal Dip sounds amazing. I could make a meal out of it!

  2. Dips are like my go-to for appetizers. Also I feel your pain on the lack of appetizer/snacks/breakfasts. My blog was lacking in those this past year – oopsies! Well, there’s my resolution for 2016!

  3. That cheddar corn dip looks like a perfect game watching snack.

  4. I LOVE dips!! They all look amazing!
