At the Kitchen Table

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve done one an At the Kitchen Table post. We’d had trouble with our internet connection so posting was at a minimum for a bit. Thankfully it’s all fixed now so I can finally get caught up.

The Week in Pictures

So, if you followed the news at all last week you’ll know that Alabama and Georgia were hit by a “surprise” snow storm which pretty much shut both states down. I live in one of the areas that was supposed to get just a dusting of snow and we ended up with a a couple of inches.

About the amount of snow we were expecting.

The exact same spot a couple of hours later.

By the time things thawed out on Friday I was so glad to be able to leave home.

Saturday was spent hanging out and playing games with the auntlings. They love playing North to Alaska.

Weekly Goals:

Read  two chapters in The Hour that Changes the World  I forgot to download this again

Drink 50-60 ounces of water every day I’m having the hardest time with this one. I think I need to put a gallon of water in the fridge so I have cold water at the ready

Go to bed by ten pm and wake by 6 am at least five days this week. I’m doing fairly well with this one.

Format 10 recipes with Ziplist. I formatted a few recipes but I don’t remember how many.

Post two new recipes. Thanks to my internet problems I didn’t get any new recipes posted.

Read chapter three in How to Blog for Profit (Without Selling Your Soul) This one I did manage with no problems at all

Go “unplugged” for twenty-four hours This one didn’t work too well.

Start on the recipe index. I’ll probably eat the frog and start with main dishes since that is my largest and most complicated category.I did start on this one. I have the beef main dish index almost finished.

Goals for the week
